Culture studys neo-nazi music culture Assignment
Culture studys neo-nazi music culture - Assignment Example The emergence of the neo-Nazi music in England took place in the year 1970s with the concert which was titled as ââ¬ËRock against Racismââ¬â¢. Followed by this concert, the array of racists who were involved with the neo-Nazi skinheads was identified to be ââ¬ËRock against Communismââ¬â¢ (RAC). The musical concert was intimately involved with the encouragement of the nationalist neo-Nazis, racists and socially unrest themes with the intention to continue succession and thus imbibe such beliefs within the young generation (Jewish Virtual Library, 2012). The concepts of the music culture which intentionally generated as a moral panic had been considered with the obligation of the neo-Nazi culture that is currently being pursued by the young population. This moral panic involved with its categorisation of races, social groups and communities by the feeling of anxiety and emotional energy concerning the perceived values and beliefs that was typically focused during the music concert (Shayovitz, 2011). Hence, as the prime focus on the neo-Nazi music culture has been observed to imbibe the beliefs amid the young generation, it becomes quite apparent that the cultural movement is likely to have a strong impact on the young population. It also because of the increasing preferences for modern music amid the young generation, that neo-Nazi music culture can have a long lasting impression over this population. The formulation of the Neo-Nazi music culture took place with the consideration of the Jewish holocaust, as one of the utmost crimes during the Second World War era which was carried out by Adolf Hitler with the commitment to set up the Nazi despotism. The catastrophe of the Jewish holocaust is considered as one of the foremost reasons for the occurrence of such ascension of neo-Nazis in Germany in the Second World War. There

Generalizability of research findings Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words
Generalizability of research findings - Essay Example The dependability of the generalizing aspect is not absolute, statistically it is probable. Sinceà generalizability needs data on large populations, qualitative research results to the best foundation of generalizability (Ercikan & Roth, 2009). The criteria for evaluating generalizability of qualitative research include various steps. First an ethical research needs to be carried out, and the importance of the research well defined. There should also be coherence and clarity of the report. The methods used in the research should be rigorous and appropriate. It is important to consider the reflexivity and also establish the validity of the research. Lastly, the researcher needs to understand the reliability of the data (Patton, 2004). In conclusion, Qualitative research cannot get described as a unified field. The reviewers are not experts in qualitative research. They also fail to appreciate the set criteria relative to the qualitative approach that has been reported. It is significant that researchers get aware of the tendency and also educate health care researchers about the suitable criteria in evaluating qualitative

Murabahah in Islamic Commercial Law Application within Islamic Banking Essay
Murabahah in Islamic Commercial Law Application within Islamic Banking and Finance Industry - Essay Example Now there are more than two hundred Islamic financial establishments all over the world. Actually, Murabahah is a term associated with Islamic Fiqh, which indicates to a particular type of sale, and it has nothing to do with financing. Islamic scholars still argue that, the structuring ofà Murabahahà financing is rather different from the overdraft facility prepared along conventional lines as the former one offers numerous benefits to the bank and its customers. In fact, murabahah as a means of finance was permitted by the Sharia scholars with certain conditions. Unless these conditions are fully observed, murabahah is not allowable. According to Sharia, if the conditions are ignored, the transaction becomes void or worthless. ââ¬Å"Murabaha is a sale contract for selling a specified item at a mutually agreed mark-up (profit) added to the purchase priceâ⬠(Trade Based Financing Murabaha Cost-Plus Sale) n.d.). Issues inà Murabahah 1. Securities againstà the Murabahah Pa yments received from sale are called receivables, and for this purpose, the clients are asked to provide a security. 2. Guaranteeing Murabahah The seller can request the client to provide aà thirdà party guarantee. The guarantee doesnââ¬â¢t have the option to charge fee from the client. The reason is that, a person who is charged with a fee for advancing loan may fall under the definition of riba. . 3.à Penalty of Non-Payment: In case a client fails to make payment of the fee on the due date, the fee should not be increased. ââ¬Å"In Murabahah financing, once the price is fixed, it cannot be increasedâ⬠(Important Issues Involved in Murabahah n.d.). 4.à ââ¬Å"Rollover inà the Murabahahâ⬠(Roll Over in Murabahah 2011): Once a commodity is sold through Murabahah, its possession transfers from the bank to the client, and therefore the seller may not have any right on the property. The seller can claim only the price agreed. 5.à Rebate on Former Payments: Occa sionally some debtors often like to pay before time to obtain discounts. However within Islam, a large section of Muslim scholars as well as the major schools of thought regard this as unà Islamic. On the other hand, if the Islamic bank or the financial institution gives somebody a discount on its own, it is not offensive, particularly if the clients are needy. The Significant Issue in Murabahah Financing. The subject of debate among the modern Shariah scholars is that the bank or financier can go for a real sale while the client requests Murabahah financing from the bank, because the obligatory commodity, at this stage is not possessed by the bank, and the person cannot sell goods not possessed by him nor can he facilitate a forward sale. It is also decided that the commodity which is sold is given as a security to the seller. Some scholars have the opinion that this can be done only after the buyer has undertaken its delivery and not prior to that. Critically Discuss and Analyze the Discourse from the Different Legislations and Jurisdictions by Presenting the Islamic Finance Cases that Have Come Before the Courts. Islamic banking denotes a system of banking activity or banking that is reliable with the principles and rules of Islamic law (Sharia), and its practical application in the course of the growth of Islamic economics. ââ¬Å"Sharia forbidsâ⬠the payment of fees for lending cash (Riba, usury) on specific conditions, in addition to investing in businesses that offer goods or services measured contrary to its principles (Haraam, forbidden). At the same time, as these principles were employed as the support base for a flourishing financial system in earlier times, it is merely in the late 20th century that numerous Islamic banks were created to apply these principles to semi-private

Consumer Behavior TrendsCocooning Research Paper
Consumer Behavior TrendsCocooning - Research Paper Example Cocooning is an interesting practice which implies a certain accepted belief set with respect to what will become of the overall economy. Likewise, the level of economic optimism displayed by this group is invariably quite low (Sexton 2011). In short, those that practice cocooning are intent on building/fortifying their own interests/needs against the backdrop of an increasingly uncertain economic reality. These consumers cannot be easily defined as they incorporate elements of TEOTWAWKI (The end of the world as we know it), survivalism, conservationism, and a pervasive element of fear for future stability. It is this fear, more than any other factor, which defines the behaviors and actions of consumers as will be discussed in this analysis. As such, this brief analysis will review the product many different product offerings of freeze dried food and other long-term food storage items. This type of activity, although still considered fringe, is gaining more and more popularity due to the uncertain outcome of the current financial crisis and the fear by many individuals that the situation will only become more and more desperate as time goes on. This belief is further compounded by a growing group of individuals who have developed a worldview that is defined by the belief that the complete and total collapse of the global economy is imminent. Although there have always been elements of survivalism and fear of a coming global apocalypse, the size and scope of such activities has verifiably increased over the past few years to encompass a much larger demographic than was previously associated with such cocooning activities as this. Individuals, spurred on by aggressive marketing campaigns in alternative media outlets1, are actively seeking to stockpile not only food but other necessary supplies that they believe will insulate them in some way from the coming/imminent collapse. This behavior is unique due

Listen actively Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words
Listen actively - Essay Example Listening to Olivia my childhood friend becomes a task when she has full five minutes to speak and I could not utter a word. Initial one-two minutes went good and I focused as much as I could, but the rest three were impossible to pass. She had been reading Dan Brownââ¬â¢s Da Vinci Code and since, I have already read it before; the story entailed minimal interest for me. Secondly, I was having this surging urge to check my cell phone for facebook, twiter, email, messages updates. Overall, this experience taught me I am not a good listener and I rather like to interrupt the speaker to add my piece of mind. On the other hand, Olivia is good at listening according to her those five minutes were significant. Since, I shared my thoughts about bullying issues, which I have been facing in the school lately. I must say it feels refreshing to be listened intently and I shared the stuff, which I was not intending to share with her. Question 2: Recalled an encounter in which you were saying something important but the other person gave you negative feedback. How did the feedback affect your communication? Your relationship? Is negative feedback ever appropriate? If so, under which circumstances? I was out with a friend in the mall and we were just discussing some relationship issues she recently had. I do not like to share my personal issues with people as they do not understand how I establish actions to secure myself. After more than half an hour of sharing done by her, she started asking me a lot of questions. Initially, I tried to give secure answers by not giving answers which would depict me as a loser about my situation, but later on I shared a bit of my dilemma. Exactly after my sharing she abruptly started concluding pessimistically the whole story without empathizing. Her negative feedback made me more defensive and I got a little angry too and eventually this made me regret the sharing I did. For the next time, I
